Online news sources including ChristWire.org are reporting on a disturbing viral video now known as Amber Cole video.  The video allegedly shows a young 14-year old girl known as Amber Cole, orally pleasuring a young high school boy in a public place.  There appears to be two other people involved in the incident; one who took the video and another high school age young man sitting on the floor while Amber Cole and the first boy where engaged in the act.  The Amber Cole video shows that the incident may have happened in front of what appears to be entrance doors to a school.

It's been quite the day here at Ology—traffic over the Amber Cole fiasco has peaked, and yet this isn't exactly the sort of thing we want to celebrate. The controversy surrounding the 14-year-old teenager who was recorded on video performing oral sex on a male peer has brought extremely differing opinions to the table about middle school and high school students and their sexual behaviors: should Amber be subject to this sort of scrutiny? Is this something that is now "typical" for girls her age?

Discussion of these events reached an all-time high with the now infamous "Leave Amber Cole Alone" video, where another young woman pleaded—though comically—for the backlash to stop. Amber Cole Affair

The backlash for Amber became so severe that she became a trending topic on Twitter, with people urging people to "Leave Amber Cole Alone" as the derogatory comments against Amber Cole intensified.
The saga increased as rumours spread that Amber had killed herself because the bullying and insults aimed towards her became too much, which led many people to ask whether the whole situation had got way out of her hand.
Us rapper Nicki Minaj, even got involved by this point, tweeting to her six and a half million followers:  "GOD please watch over #AmberCole I would hate for #CyberBullying to cause her to take he own life. Retweet".

 
Cole became a controversial internet celebrity overnight when a video of her performing oral sex on her apparent ex-boyfriend was released and went viral.
The video was recorded by two other boys without the girl's consent outside of a high school who then went on to post it on various social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
These sites were then filled with controversial views and opinions on Amber Cole and her actions, with many people seeing this as an unjust form of cyber-bullying against the 14-year-old.
A Youtube video was then uploaded by jordannmariebaby on 17 October, pleading for people for people to leave Amber Cole alone, which itself went viral instantly, fuelling the debate further.
 

Why the Amber Cole incident needs attention ‎

Amber Cole’s name has become a popular one for all the wrong reasons. A videotape of the 14-year-old girl performing fellatio on a classmate outside of their high school was posted on the Internet, unfortunately leaving her open to much ridicule and judgment.
While she was a victim of cyber bullying following the video’s distribution—which is illegal, by the way, considering she’s a minor—there were many who defended Amber.
One particular teen posted a teary-eyed plea, a video that has racked up more than a million views on YouTube.
“Y’all over here talking ‘bout this girl like she did a crime or something. Y’all need to stop. Leave Amber Cole alone,” she cries. “Y’all over here making fun of a girl because she likes to do a little head work in places. There’s nothing wrong with that… I don’t understand.”
While compassion for Amber is appreciated, because no one wants to see her future ruined for her teenage error in judgment, the fact that some young girls her age don’t seem to find her behavior taboo or inappropriate is troubling.
With the rate of STDs rising, the thought of young sisters on their knees (in front of bystanders, no less) performing oral sex, is very wrong, despite what Amber’s defenders may feel.
Why would anyone deem this acceptable behavior?
While no one wants to further disparage Amber’s name, it’s worth mentioning if only to make clear that this is not what we want for our daughters.
There’s nothing wrong with sex at the appropriate age, time, place and person with whom there is hopefully shared affection, and that’s what we want for our girls.

ESPN the Magazine: Body Issue hits newsstands this Friday but the sports network released a few preview photos of the upcoming issue and that has some really taking notice of the gymnast.
